Second stop: Washington DC
Eisenhower Executive Office Building, National Mall & Memorial Parks: Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial
Never have I felt tinier in my life up until I visited this beautiful place. I was constantly amazed with the structures & buildings that surrounded us and of the rich history behind the parks and monuments. DC was such a scenic and beautiful place and it felt like everything was just ready to be painted on canvas (wished I was a little more artistic).
DC is more of a chill and picturesque place rather than really an “active” place per se but it’s something I’ll choose over any day (and can I just say… The food trucks there are nothing short of amazing).
DC’s probably at the top of my favorite list amongst all our other stops.
And as I start a new season/chapter in my life, I would just want to share a quote that I stumbled upon on my Google Chrome app. It has immensely spoke to me this past week:
“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”
Have a great day ahead!
